Future Development

Intensive Therapeutics is in the process of developing several new programs for adults and children including:

• Continuing development of therapeutic programs, within the community, for children with Autism throughout the state of NJ. The goal is to provide programs within every county of the state for easier accessibility to services for parents.
  
  
• A program for adults with chronic stroke having upper extremity hemiplegia. This program will be based on the evidence of research involving constraint-induced (CI) movement therapy.
  
  
• Handwriting Groups. Focusing on the fine motor and perceptual skills necessary to promote functional handwriting for children with special needs.
  
  
• Sport/Recreational Groups. Focusing on the skills necessary to participate in community recreational activities for children with special needs.
